The Pod
The Goodman Grant was awarded to Alexandra Sevareid and me to pursue our interest in productive spaces. We started by touring design studios both in the Kansas City, Missouri and Portland, Oregon areas to see how they optimized their workspaces. After interviewing studios, we came up a product that gives students a private workspace away their from noisy communal studios.

Part of our research was a drawing survey asking participants to visually express chaos and productivity. The print pieces included full interviews we had with designers; Emmy Rice, Matt Richard, Ryan Barrett, and Ian Tirone. Each of them shared their advice for creating a productive space. Bookmarks included highlights of their suggestions for objects that can help boost productivity.
